The Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) is again preparing for its 12th Annual Midtown Race for MAC 5k at Piedmont Park on May 9, 2026.  Growing in size each year, this annual event draws runners from around Atlanta to raise awareness about the prevention of homelessness and hunger for working families.  Since its inaugural race in 2014, the Midtown Race for MAC has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide essential emergency assistance to low-income working Atlantans.

The 5k race course this year is once again inside the park, and all runners, walkers, strollers, and pet owners are welcome. Parking available in the lot next to Park Tavern. Leashed dogs and stroller

Swim in beautiful Lake Peachtree, bike on a gently-rolling course, and run along our famous golf path paths.
