The 8th Annual Homewood Holiday 5k will take place on Sunday December 7th, 2025. The 5k course will run through the beautiful Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus, through part of the BMA Sculpture Garden, and along the San Martin Hackerman Pathway. After the race, we will have a post race reception in Homewood Field with water, snacks, beer and more! We will have music, a costume contest, and a special appearance from Santa himself. Each registrant will receive a Homewood 5k Custom T-shirt and post race refreshments. Souvenir Glass Mugs can also be purchased for $10 during registration only

The Mechanicsville Elementary 5k Turkey Trot and 1 mile run will begin in the side parking lot of Mechanicsville Elementary School. Racers registered for the 1 mile run will begin first with the 5k immediately following. Racers will take off across old village road and onto Three Notch Trail where they will race either .5 or 1.5 miles down the flat and paved trail until they hit the turnaround spot at route 236. From there they will turn around and race back to Mechanicsville Elementary School. This event is to help fund student events, enrichemnt, and clubs at Mechanicsville.
