The 25th AOTC is Saturday, April 5th, 2025.
The Assault on the Carolinas is the annual fundraiser for the Pisgah Forest Rotary Club. We offer 100k (road bike), 50k road bike, and 50k eBike rides. The 100k goes through NC/SC mountains and valleys. Fully supported ride with 5 well stocked rest stops, and a challenging 6 mile climb up Ceasar's Head. The 50k goes through the river valleys of Scenic Transylvania County.

The rides are a 30, 31, 50, 71 or 100 mile scenic ride into parts of Surry, Wilkes, Yadkin and even a touch of Alleghany counties of North Carolina. The ride gets its name for passing several vineyards and wineries in the Yadkin Valley wine region. Then returning to Elkin where showers and a post ride meal are waiting for you, and one of the finest wine festivals is going on at the park next to the return area. The Yadkin Valley Wine Festival. Our event is for Princesses of all sizes, ages and fitness levels. We don’t focus on fastest times or competitions, we focus on fun so be prepared to run, walk, crawl, climb, slide, balance and laugh your way along our course for an amazing “girls' dirty day out!”
We have no limits on the size of your team, it can be as many Princesses as you can convince to join you for a day in the mud! Please don’t feel excluded if you are entering as an individual, all of our Princesses are part of our Muddy Princess family and there will always be help and support to ensure everybody makes
