The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile race, 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K and One 4 Texas Kids' Fun Run through The Woodlands will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 beginning at 7 a.m. These races are produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department. The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas race is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event with a certified 10-mile course.
All races will be capped. The race start and finish location is at Nortshore Park. After the race, participants will enjoy a Texas-sized post-race party with fun for the whole family.

The Rotary Club of Historic Brownsville will host it's Annual Ride for Rotary-Queen Isabella Causeway Cross Benefit Ride on October 1, 2023. The ride will end at Louie's Backyard. The ride draws participation from cyclists of all levels and ages. Last year, we had participants from Brownsville, Weslaco, Harlingen, San Benito, South Padre Island, McAllen, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Matamoros, and Reynosa.
All proceeds raised by the event will be used to support Rotary’s local projects, which include providing free eye exams and eyeglasses to children, hosting Rotary’s Annual Heart Gallery (an adoption awareness event), funding scholar

Denton Breakfast Kiwanis (DBK) Club invites you to our 41st Turkey Roll Bicycle Rally! We have six (6) routes, ranging from 8 miles to 68 miles, giving riders a picturesque fall day through northern Denton and southern Cooke counties. A brand-new addition this year is a partial gravel route, taking riders down the picturesque Greenbelt of Lake Ray Roberts State Park. There will be plenty of sag wagons and rest stops, including the Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers rest stop at Wishbone Pass, the Rudy’s BBQ stop for the 68-mile route, and our greatest-ever Celebration Station
