Don your Santa hats or reindeer ears and join us for the 8th Annual Jacksonville Jingle Jog 5K and Fun Run presented by CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Jacksonville. Open to runners, walkers, adults, and children, this event is a family-oriented holiday tradition where memories will be created as we jingle our way through the city. Jingle bells will be provided!

The 2024 Santa Fun Run begins at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19 and winds through the United Way's beautiful Winter Lightfest. The run is a fundraiser for the Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation and the United Way in partnership with Abilene Running Company.  Run or walk through 3 million lights and help promote excellence in education at the same time! Strollers are welcome. No dogs please.

The course is just under 3 miles and goes through the Lightfest four times. T-shirts are no longer guaranteed.

The run will only be cancelled if weather conditions (ice or snow) make travel extremely dangerous.  No refunds if event is cancelled.

The 32nd Annual Tour de Braz Bike Ride will be held Saturday, March 8th, 2025. The ride starts at Alvin Community College and tours through the beautiful Brazoria County Countryside. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Alvin Volunteer Fire Department. Tour de Braz is the perfect ride for the whole family and is open to all experience levels. We are offering 35, 47, 67, and 100-mile routes! We are only accepting online registration this year. Online Registration will be open until March 8th, 8:00am, the price goes up $10 after March 6th.

Cheered on by spectators, runners will wind their way through scenic neighborhoods and business districts. The race offers a choice of distances with a marathon, half marathon and 5-person relay marathon.
