Join us for the 25th running of our race series at the historic Grand Caverns Park in Grottoes, VA. The 5K race series offers a "flat and fast" course in & around the park.

This is a CERTIFIED 5K race with a twilight start (6:00 PM).

The 1-Mile fun run / wallk stays within the park along the pictureque trail. One Mile starts approximately 5 minutes after the start of the 5K.

All proceeds will go towards the purchase of a new children's playground at the park.

We're a boutique size race series, but we have a maathon-style fun time!!!

Fill the Shoes is proud to present the 13th annual "Fill the Shoes" 5K in memory of Jack. T. Farrar Jr., a long time Hayfield Farm resident who passed away in November, 2005 just 3 months after a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
This community race is dedicated to Jack and all people affected by pancreatic cancer.  Net proceeds of this event will go directly to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) to support them in their mission to "advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer".

The Kent Gardens Winter Dive Program meets Sunday mornings with 2 sessions from 9am-10am and 10am-11am at Yorktown High School (5200 Yorktown Blvd., Arlington) beginning Sunday, September 10 and running until May 5.  Our two amazing head coaches along with some of our wonderful junior coaches will help you retain what you learned over the summer and learn a few new things too! 

Interested in dive but haven't tried it before?  Not a member of KGRC but want to participate?  This is for you, too - come on out!  This program requires that participants be able to swim unassisted from the board to the ladder.
